The Company        

This is for a well-established and a leading provider/centre of social and community services across the New England North West area (Armidale, Tamworth, Narrabri, Gunnadah)
  
The Role
  
An exciting opportunity became available for a Clinical Lead to provide leadership and supervision to staff and assist in managing the delivery of Clinical Services within Tamworth and outpost sites.
  
Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate clinical service delivery, in collaboration with the headspace Program Manager, for young people aged 12 to 25 years accessing headspace programs.
  • Coordinate and provide Supervision to a multi-disciplined clinical team, providing strong leadership to staff within a recovery framework.
  • Provide higher level of clinical intervention as required for young people at risk or with higher complexity and ensuring clients who are inappropriate for headspace services are properly referred to and engaged with an alternate appropriate service
  • Provide recovery-orientated counselling and psychology services to improve the mental and social wellbeing of young people, including administering specialist assessments, formulating individualised treatment plans drawing on appropriate conceptual and theoretical models, conducting intake and assessment appointments and providing active Case Coordination
  • Work autonomously, being responsible for meeting KPIs and adhering to company’s policies and procedures.

  
The Ideal Candidate

To be considered for this role, the following are the essential criteria:
  
      Essential Selection Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or equivalent and current registration with the relevant Registration Board and be an AHPRA registered Supervisor.
  • Has the ability to work independently as a practitioner delivering both individual and group counselling
  • Experience managing and supervising a clinical team
  • Ability to maintain clinical service delivery standards and manage risk across a range of services.
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership within the Community Services field

TSS/482 Visa Sponsorship Available

This client is willing to offer sponsorship through the 482/TSS visa for experienced applicants. You must meet the visa requirements set out by the Department of Home Affairs Immigration.

To be considered for TSS/482 sponsorship, in addition to the job requirements you will need to:

  • Hold a Recognised International Trade Qualification in Mechanics (i.e Red Seal, City and Guilds, FETAC etc)
  • Hold an approved English Test Certificate (i.e IELTS 5.0 Minimum in all 4 sections), or be a citizen of UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, or New Zealand
  • Be in a financial position to support your application and associated costs
  • Be able to move to Australia as soon as your Visa is granted (preferred)
